Welcome to the Celtic Fans Collective
The Celtic Fans Collective is a coalition of supporter groups from across the Celtic family. It brings together shareholder organisations, ultras, supporters’ buses and fan media under one banner. The Collective emerged in the aftermath of a disastrous summer transfer window and a humiliating Champions League exit that laid bare deep, long-standing failures at our club. Those failures were not confined to recruitment. They were rooted in poor leadership, incoherent policymaking and an unmistakable sense of strategic drift.
The Collective exists to push for a renewed Celtic, one fit for a new generation of supporters. That means a modernised stadium footprint, a coherent plan to grow the club’s global brand, and clear, honest lines of communication between the boardroom and the stands. It means ambition in the football department that goes beyond merely being the strongest team in Scotland, towards making Celtic credible competitors in Europe. It means executive leadership that is open to fresh ideas, modern in its thinking, and prepared to accept accountability when things go wrong.
Celtic currently operates with an ageing stadium in urgent need of investment. The infrastructure around the ground remains virtually non-existent, despite years of talk about a museum, a bar, or even a hotel. Our youth academy produces too few players of genuine first-team quality, and the development pathway is flawed and poorly managed. Too many executives have occupied their roles for too long to offer modern solutions. Stagnation has set in across critical areas, and the consequences are now visible on the pitch.
The club has increasingly come to feel like the private domain of a small group who do not believe they are answerable to shareholders or to supporters who invest season after season through tickets and merchandise. That attitude was laid bare at the recent AGM, where questions were simply refused. Threats to ban fans and the exclusion of fan media from club events have only deepened division and mistrust.
The Celtic Fans Collective believes Celtic can and must be better than this. It wants leadership that listens, learns and improves. It wants stronger structures in the football department and a higher level of ambition, not just participation in European football but genuine competitiveness at the highest level of the Champions League. It wants a stadium and surrounding area that reflect the stature of the club. Above all, it wants clear evidence of a vision for the future, rather than a strategy of endlessly treading water. That is why the Celtic Fans Collective exists.
